Sidewalk conditions in the TIRZ 12 boundary and immediate surrounding area vary widely, with some corridors having decent pedestrian infrastructure, while others have aging or inaccessible sidewalks. Several streets lack any type of sidewalk providing gaps in the network. This project includes specific sidewalk projects that enhance pedestrian safety and connectivity between neighborhoods, schools, and other key destinations in the zone.
